From the difficulty of finding psychological help in her mother tongue for herself, she had the intuition to create a psychological support service via video call. European hammer throw champion She exploded in 2022, when in just a few months she improved the Italian record in the hammer throw by more than two meters. In the same year she was fourth at the World Championships and third at the European Championships. Sara Fantini is 26, from Fidenza and a child of art: her mother was a javelin thrower, her father was 11th at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the shot put. In a few weeks, in Paris, she will try to do better. She will come to the Games on the heels of her first major international success: on June 10, in Rome, she beat Poland’s Anita Wlodarczyk, the greatest hammer thrower in history, and won the European title.
